When I was 15, I literally became obsessed with Miyavi. Retarded, right? I know, I was so obsessed, it was like I was in a trance... and then somehow, by the time I turned 17, it's like I forgot he existed.

But today, I was napping, and my cell phone started ringing. It was my friend, Tiff. And she goes, "Ohmygod, you'll never guess who's coming to San Francisco this weekend."
"Who...." I asked
She goes, ".... Miyavi."
I screamed "SHUTTHEFUCKUP!" and propped up in bed.
"Dude," she said, "This is what you've been dreaming of."
"Yeah, when I was 16 though... I miss the old Miyavi, he's not he same anymore :[", I sighed. "But I still would like to see. I mean, back then I would have KILLED to see him. I was about to fly to Japan that one summer to see him."
"If you can get tickets, I'll go with you," she said.

I had to think about it. Like really think about it. The Miyavi I loved before isn't the Miyavi now. But if I didn't do this, my 16 year old conscience would murder me. I mean, back then, I would have given my left arm to see him. I would have shaved my head. Anything. PLUS, I MEAN COMMON, it's in my blood screaming for me to go.

So I went downstairs and told my brother.

"Jon, Miyavi is playing at Slim's this weekend."

He just stared at me, got on his laptop, and bought 4 tickets and screamed, "WE'REGOING."

So, until further notice, apparently we are going to the Miyavi concert this Sunday night.
